Request account and data deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your HotZone AI account and associated data. It is publicly accessible for Google Play review and for any user who wants their account deleted.

Submit a deletion request

You can request deletion in one of two ways: (A) send an email request, or (B) use the form below. The form can either open your email app (works everywhere) or send directly via a web form endpoint if you configure one.

Fill this out and click Submit. By default, it opens an email draft addressed to support@aegisresponse.ai. Optionally, you can configure a web form endpoint (instructions in code comments).

Most users should choose “Delete account + associated data”.

Details (optional) I confirm I am requesting deletion for my own account and I understand we may ask for verification.

Identity verification: To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the account (for example, by replying from the account email address) before we proceed.

If you have an active subscription, you may want to cancel it through Google Play before requesting deletion.

Processing timeline

We typically process deletion requests within 30 days.
Security/abuse and billing records may be retained as described on this page.

Data deletion and retention

Data that is deleted

Account identifiers (e.g., user ID, account email, display name if used)
Saved incident entries and associated metadata (where applicable)
Uploaded images/attachments stored on our systems (if any)
In-app preferences and settings stored on our backend

Data that may be retained

Security and abuse-prevention logs (e.g., access logs) for up to 90 days
Billing and transaction records (if applicable) for compliance/tax requirements for up to 7 years
Aggregated analytics that cannot reasonably identify you (may be retained)

On-device data: Some data may be stored locally on your device (e.g., cached content). Uninstalling the app and clearing app storage will remove local data.
